Forward a Copy of Your Return

Clients can forward a copy of their return to any recipient they choose. The recipient cannot sign, pay, or distribute K-1s; they will only receive a PDF copy of the return.

Please note:

The recipient must enter an access code to view and download the documents. 
Forward Documents Before Signing 
  1. Navigate to the Review section of the return as outlined in the Client Experience article. 
  2. Click Forward.
  3. Select which documents to send to the recipient. 
  4. Enter an Email Address for the recipient. 
  5. Enter a Country Code and Mobile Number for the recipient (optional).
    • If a mobile number is entered, the access code will be sent to that number. 
    • If no mobile number is entered, the access code will be sent to the recipient's email address. 
  6. Click Add New Contact to add additional recipients (optional). 
  7. Click Send to deliver the return documents.

Forward Documents After Signing 
  1. Access the return using the link emailed to you after signing was complete. 
    • Must complete authentication to gain access.
  2. Click View or Forward Tax DocumentsForward after signed.png
  3. Click Forward.
  4. Select which documents to send to the recipient. 
  5. Enter an Email Address for the recipient. 
  6. Enter a Country Code and Mobile Number for the recipient (optional).
    • If a mobile number is entered, the access code will be sent to that number. 
    • If no mobile number is entered, the access code will be sent to the recipient's email address. 
  7. Click Add New Contact to add additional recipients (optional).
