What is RBAC?

A Role-Based Access Control system (RBAC) is a way of managing access to the system based on the roles of the different users within an organization.

Who should use RBAC?

This feature will be beneficial for firms with a large number of users that have a variety of functional roles spread across a variety of departments. 

How do I implement this for my firm? 

You can find these features in the User Management section of the Suite. 

How will I be affected if I do not want to use this feature?

The existing user groups will remain in place, and all functionalities will continue to work as it did prior to the release of this feature. 

Can firms make their own custom roles?

No, all roles & permissions are predefined. Firms can create custom User Groups using predefined roles to meet their specific needs. There is no limit to the number of predefined roles that can be added to a user group.
