Grouped Returns Reporting

This article outlines how to manage delivered returns that are a part of a group. 

Locating a Group of Returns

Returns in a group can be located by using the Group Name column. 

  1. Navigate to Delivered Returns
  2. Enter the name of the group in the Group Name column.

Action Menu

Returns that are part of a group have some additional options in the Action menu regarding editing and viewing capabilities. View Delivered Return: Action Menu for more information on the other actionable items. 

  1. Edit Group Name - Edit the name of the group if needed.
  2. Resend Access Link - Send the access link to the controller at any time, regardless of the return status. 
  3. Controller View - Preview the managing member's tax return dashboard.
  4. Recall Return - Choose to recall the individual return or the entire group of returns. 
  5. User Tracking - View the Controller , Client, and Internal Tracking for the specified return.

Client Instructions
Client Instructions are email notifications the managing member receives. Each message type can be customized in the Settings menu. View Settings: Client Instructions for more information on how to add, edit, and delete a template. 
  1. Navigate to the Settings
  2. Click Client Instructions.
  3. Click the Group Returns tab.
